Per her FBI file:

“She resides in West Palm Beach FL, where she is active in Council For Statehood…Informants advise subject has been active in Klan-type and racial organizations and secretly is in sympathy with American Nazi Party.  Subject has published booklet entitled, ‘The Secret Government of the United States’. …"

“The records of the Credit Bureau of Palm Beach County, West Palm Beach FL, reflect the subject came to West Palm Beach FL in 1950, from Pittsburgh, PA, where she operated a nursing home. In West Palm Beach she operated a nursing home called Sunnyside, Inc.  Her net worth is listed as $30,000 in 1953.  A small claim suit was filed the subject April 16, 1956, in the amount of $26.50.  Two small claim suits were filed against Sunnyside, Inc., totaling $575.00.” …

“On May 10, 1963 [name deleted] Probation Officer, Allegheny County Probation Office…made available for review their probation office case No. 53602 for Mary M. Davison, age 65, widow, no children, 227 N. Negley Avenue, Pittsburgh 6, PA, occupation none, which reflected that she was tried in Allegheny County Criminal Court under Docket #420, February session, 1949, for the offense of operating a private nursing home without a license…that on 10/26/50 she was tried before Judge O’Toole and found guilty; that she applied for a new trial which was refused.  On June 25, 1951, she was placed on probation for one year and was to pay court costs of $162.05 through the Probation Office.”  …

At this point in the FBI report, mention is made of Davison being on the Board of Directors of the Council For Statehood and how Davison worked closely with a local American Nazi Party official because she “is in agreement with [George Lincoln] Rockwell’s movement” with respect to “the trial and execution of all Jews guilty of Communism”. …

“The subject was interviewed May 8, 1963 at which time she advised she attended the Conference of the Congress of Freedom, Inc., in New Orleans, Louisiana, during the first week of April 1963, as a representative of her organization known as Council For Statehood.  She said the aims and objectives of her organization are to acquaint the people, through correspondence, that their constitutional rights are being taken away by Federal agencies.”  …

The FBI report then mentions an informant “who has furnished reliable information in the past” who “described the subject as a top leader in segregationist groups in that area and an affiliate of the National States Rights Party (NSRP).  They discussed the holding of a segregationist rally in West Palm Beach and [name deleted] advised that the subject is very interested in segregation matters and told him she would not allow integration in Palm Beach County.” …

“On November 3, 1958, a confidential source advised the NSRP was formed in 1958 and was composed of past members of the KKK and notorious anti-semites.” …

Davison was also active in the West Palm Beach chapter of the White Citizens Council..

Informant who spoke with Davison stated that when she attended the April 1963 Congress of Freedom convention in New Orleans, a member of the Council For Statehood stated that the Congress of Freedom wanted to eliminate the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) “through legislation if possible; however, if not possible, the Congress of Freedom will resort to eliminating the CFR through assassination.” …

Council For Statehood was founded as result of 12/4/62 meeting in West Palm Beach FL by group calling themselves “Freemen”.  A subsequent meeting on 12/11/62 changed the group name to Council For Statehood.  The general purpose of the organization “is to eliminate, by force if necessary, all Jewish people who hold high positions in business and Government and eliminate all Jews who are communists.” [FBI HQ file 157-1232, serial #3, 1/7/64 memo from SAC Miami to J. Edgar Hoover, page 3.]
